I Heart You, Valentine! DIY Heart-Shaped Crayons

Making these hearts again for Phee’s preschool friends! So I thought I’d reblog for others looking for sugar-free Valentine’s Day ideas!


Do you have a toddler? Kid? Then perhaps you have a lot of broken crayons in your house too? Turn those broken crayons into Valentine’s Day gifts with my simple tutorial. This is seriously a no-fail, simple activity. Low on time-investiment and high on super cute outcome!

Backstory (feel free to skip to Supplies): My daughter loves to go to The Caterpillar Museum — The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. One of her favorite stops is the toddler table with chunky multi-colored crayons melted down from broken crayons. She loves to count them, talk about the colors, and color with them too! I’ve been meaning to make some, but I didn’t have the time to invest in a Pinterest fail story. Well, yesterday, I had a bit more time and thought I could risk a fail.
